Simple yet Detailed

Thinking more about flowers/plants.
I think this print by Isabella Hessel called White Baroque Flower is really interesting.
It is simple because of it's monochrome nature but it is still quite detailed. I don't know how everyone else feels about print making/graphic work but I think just this piece is simple yet elegant and although it is 2D I think it can inform us quite a lot about the delicate and complicated nature of a flower yet we can still make it look simple.
