I really like the 'cast' ideas.
This is my favourite from Whiteread's work above, where the cast of a bookshelf is made.
I think a cast of something natural like a flower could work really well since with limited time we should stick to simple and small scale.
I think this artwork of a flower imprint is quite simple yet effective, it reminds me of shells on the beach you find in stone.
Maybe some 'pressing' into clay/plaster with natural plants?
